Kyle Paterson is from Greensboro, North Carolina, and is currently attending North Carolina State University. He plans to set himself for more adventurous activities after graduation.

Kyle’s story is paired with “Apprehension and Transcendence” by Valerie Paterson, the perspective of his mother on his leaving home on his adventure.
