"My Neighbor Is a D-Day Hero" with Horace Barrett (reprise - 2022)

This story is offered this Veterans' Day, 2022. It is the experience on June 6, 1944 of my next-door neighbor as he wrote it years later. He will be 99 on December 7. He learned recently that he had been awarded a fourth Purple Heart to accompany his Bronze Star. This story is offered in honor and memory of all World War II veterans.
