Beth Bixby Davis was born in Northern New York and moved to the Asheville area of North Carolina in the mid-1960s where she reared her family, raised Arabian horses and had a 30-year career in nursing. Enjoying a long-time hobby of writing, she recently published a book of short stories, essays, and poetry, called Patchwork Collection. Her creative nonfiction work has appeared in Bearing Up, Exploring, and Luck and Opportunity. She belongs to Talespinners Writers Group.
