"Doing Well While Doing Good" by Joel R. Stegall
– if only
The name on a successful medical aid ubiquitous in hospitals around the world could have had a different name on it, if only.
As a university music professor and academic administrator, Joel Stegall wrote more than 35 journal articles and book chapters. Since retiring to Winston-Salem, NC, he has completed two volumes of family history starting with those who braved the wild frontier of western North Carolina in the mid-Eighteenth Century. His research revealed ancestors who showed inventiveness, self-sacrifice, uncommon love, devotion to the call of God, and more than a little ordinary sinfulness.
