Randell Jones lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is the author of several award-winning history books including In the Footsteps of Daniel Boone and Before They Were Heroes at King’s Mountain. Since 2007, he was served as an invited member of the Road Scholars Speakers Bureau of the North Carolina Humanities Council. He writes, speaks, and publishes as Daniel Boone Footsteps.
