"A Soldier's Heart" by Cynthia Briggs

Writer and podcaster Dr. Cynthia Briggs shares her experience of interviewing over 90 WWII veterans during the last four years. She has marshaled the memories of these aging veterans into learnings about life for us all.

 

Cynthia Briggs is a professor of counseling, an oral historian, and a writer of fiction and creative non-fiction. She is the producer/host of her own recently launched podcast, “Soldiers Heart,” available at Apple Podcast and elsewhere. (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/id1470874863) She is the co-editor of Snapdragon: A Journal of Art and Healing (snapdragonjournal.com). Her memoir and essays have been published in numerous print and on-line journals. She lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
