In this season when fact and fable and fantasy intertwine, it is still quite fair to say that regarding the human condition, all stories are true. This one, you’ve heard from us before, but we share it again for the holidays as we are all busy creating our own memories and our own stories. May all yours be as true.

 

Randell Jones lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is the author of several award-winning history books, including In the Footsteps of Daniel Boone, and two videos. Since 2007, he has served as an invited member of the Road Scholars Speakers Bureau of the North Carolina Humanities Council.
