A North Carolina writer remembers a time of peril when her fear of strangers almost thwarted her guardian angels.
Judie Holcomb-Pack is retired from Winston-Salem’s Crisis Control Ministry. She is past editor/writer for the Winston-Salem Chronicle and their publication “For Seniors Only” magazine. She won gold medals in Senior Games/SilverArts competitions for poetry and short stories. She serves on the boards of Winston-Salem Writers and 40 Plus Stage Company. Judie enjoys a great cup of coffee and stimulating conversation; and, she is a die-hard Virginia Tech Hokies football fan.
